Description
Viking Pendant Disc. 9th century AD. The silver original is part of a necklace from the cemetery within the Battle Ditches, Saffron Walden (as AR113). The disc is of unusual design, having four pierced holes diagonally disposed from the centre; and a cross of different style, engraved on each surface. Saffron Walden Museum, Essex. Diameter 32mm. The silver coloured rope style chain is 26" long
