During the days of the Roman Empire, clients and the girls working in the brothels very often didn't speak the same language, so the client would buy a token with a carving of the service he wanted. He would then show it to his chosen girl - no confusion and everyone's happy !This token (Number 10 in the range of options!) was donated for moulding by a metal detectorist. Token diameter 20 mm.
