Description
The 16th Century AD Bronze original was found in the Lihou Island Priory in 1838. The Priory was a Daughter House of the Abbey of Mont St. Michel in France. The Obverse side shows Christ crucified, the reverse shows the Virgin Mary. It is bronze plated Lead free English Pewter, measures 86mm high and is suspended on a black leatherette cord.
