Description
The plaque is a bronzed resin reproduction of the original plaster master pattern of a medal to commemorate the life of Sir Winston Churchill, 1874 – 1965. This is the reverse side which shows a lion rampant holding a sword, St. Paul’s Cathedral at the time of the Blitz and the wording WE SHALL NEVER SURRENDER. As far as we are aware this is the only representation of this piece available.
